Job Description
MBBS with experience in Emergency Medicine
We are looking for an Emergency Care Medical Officer to join our Emergency/Casualty/ICU Department and provide prompt assessment, stabilization, and management of patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage emergency and acute medical cases.
- Provide initial stabilization and emergency treatment.
- Perform airway management, intubation, sedation, and other emergency procedures as required.
- Initiate appropriate investigations and treatment.
- Recognize critically ill patients and escalate to consultants when required.
- Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper patient handover and continuity of care.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBBS with experience in Emergency Medicine - valid medical council registration required.
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
- Good clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts.
