About the Role
ShftX is hiring an Advertising Manager to lead paid advertising strategy across quick-commerce platforms. You'll own budget and performance for our advertising programs, build a team of performance marketing executives, and work closely with category, supply chain, design, and analytics teams to grow visibility and sales across our quick-commerce presence.
This is a leadership role suited to someone who understands hyperlocal retail — dark-store inventory, city-level demand shifts, and fast campaign iteration — and is ready to own strategy, budget, and team outcomes.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Budget Ownership
- Own advertising strategy and spend across major quick-commerce ad platforms
- Set city-wise budget allocation, performance targets, and quarterly growth plans
- Identify and test new ad formats and placements ahead of competitors
Campaign Management
- Plan and optimize sponsored listings, banners, and native ad formats
- Manage bidding, budget pacing, and placement strategy by city and store
- Align spend with real-time stock availability to avoid wasted budget
- Drive visibility for new product launches
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver regular performance reporting (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and revenue by market)
- Build dashboards to track spend efficiency and platform trends
- Turn data into clear recommendations for category and supply chain teams
Team Leadership
- Hire, manage, and coach a team of performance marketing executives
- Set goals, review performance, and build team capability on ad platforms and tools
- Establish clear processes for campaign setup, quality checks, and reporting
Creative & Testing
- Partner with design and content teams on ad assets and storefront creative
- Run structured A/B tests on creative, copy, and audience segments
Cross-Functional Work
- Align advertising plans with inventory, launches, and promotions
- Partner with analytics on tracking and attribution
- Represent advertising in leadership and platform partner discussions
