Job Summary:
The Motor Winder is responsible for repairing, rewinding, and maintaining electric motors to ensure their efficient and safe operation in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantling of faulty electric motors and inspection of winding condition
- Rewinding of AC/DC motors as per required specifications
- Testing insulation resistance and continuity of windings
- Identifying faults such as short circuits, earth faults, and open circuits
- Assembly and proper alignment of motor components after repair
- Ensuring proper insulation, varnishing, and finishing of windings
- Maintaining records of repaired motors and spare parts used
- Ensuring timely maintenance to reduce breakdown downtime
- Following safety standards during repair and testing work
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of motor winding techniques
- Understanding of electrical circuits and diagrams
- Use of testing instruments (megger, multimeter, etc.)
- Good hand skills and attention to detail
Experience:
3–10 years (depending on industry requirement)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
