About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager / Senior Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations. This role requires a strong focus on inventory planning, demand forecasting, raw material management, logistics, and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, and comfortable managing large-scale operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Raw Material Planning
- Manage inventory levels across warehouses to ensure optimal stock availability
- Plan and monitor raw material requirements aligned with demand forecasts and production needs
- Minimize inventory aging, excess, and obsolete stock through effective planning
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliation
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop short-term and long-term demand forecasts based on historical data and trends
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams for demand alignment
- Continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency
Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Oversee end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Manage vendor relationships, transportation, and delivery timelines
- Optimize logistics costs and improve turnaround time (TAT)
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Create MIS reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership review
- Leverage data-driven insights to support strategic decisions
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors
- Proactively handle operational challenges, especially during peak periods
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Inventory Planning, Demand Forecasting, and Supply Chain Operations
- Good understanding of logistics and warehouse management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Exposure to data analytics or forecasting tools is a plus
- Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (NIIT/DCE/NSIT/BITS Preferred)
- MBA / Postgraduate degree in Operations or Supply Chain from Tier 1/2 Colleges (IIM/IIT Preferred)
Good to Have
- Experience with advanced analytics, automation, or predictive forecasting models
- Exposure to dashboards, BI tools, or data-driven supply chain optimization
