Profile Synopsis
· To head the team of renewable energy vertical (wind & solar) and provide technical, commercial & regulatory guidance on bidding, negotiations and execution of projects.
· To identify commercially viable renewable projects and carry out techno-commercial feasibility study to ascertain its viability.
· To carry out in house training by brainstorming viability of various projects, thus leading to overall skill enhancement of the team.
Pre-Bid Process
· Identifying and networking with prospective clients; generating business from existing clients/contacts
· Study of pre-qualifications reports & prepare technical and commercial bids
· Pre Bid/ Bid submission Meetings for screening & capturing of new opportunities
· Review & Preparation of RFQs, RFPs
Tendering
· Commercial & Technical evaluation of new projects including preliminary engineering, cost estimations & technical viability
· Co-ordination and negotiations with contractors to arrange the services at acceptable cost
· Dealing with Govt. agencies for different compliances
· Conduct Site surveys and field visits
Job Responsibilities:
Techno-Commercial Assessment:
- Evaluate the techno-commercial viability of solar & wind power projects.
- Perform cost estimation, technical feasibility analysis, and overall project evaluation for solar power installations.
Project Installation & Execution:
- Oversee the installation of solar panels and related infrastructure, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from design and procurement to installation.
Operations & Maintenance:
- Ensure smooth operations of the solar power projects by overseeing routine maintenance and addressing any operational issues promptly.
- Monitor the performance of the solar systems and implement necessary corrective actions.
Insurance & Risk Management:
- Coordinate with insurance providers for project coverage and ensure risk management practices are adhered to, safeguarding assets and installations.
Timely Recovery of Sale Proceeds:
- Ensure the timely recovery of payments from clients and stakeholders for the solar power projects and ensure financial obligations are met.
Project Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain records of all technical, operational, and financial data related to solar power projects.
- Provide periodic updates and detailed reports to senior management on project progress and performance.
Preferred candidate profile
The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and possess 15-20 years of experience, with a specific focus on handling Solar Power projects using solar panels. The candidate should have strong expertise in Renewable Energy Development, particularly in Solar and Wind power projects. Practical experience in project planning, installation, operations, and maintenance of solar power systems is essential.
