Job Description
Hyphenet Enterprises is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking candidates for the position of IT Support Intern / Desktop Support Engineer Trainee. This opportunity is suitable for freshers who have basic knowledge of computers and are willing to learn and build a career in IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic hardware troubleshooting for desktops and laptops
- Installation and formatting of Windows operating systems
- Installation of drivers and standard applications
- Replacement and upgrade of RAM, HDD, and SSD
- Basic printer installation and troubleshooting
- Basic networking support and internet troubleshooting
- Asset tagging and maintaining service records
- On-site support to clients whenever required
- Learning and assisting senior engineers in day-to-day support activities
Required Skills
Candidates should have basic practical knowledge of computers and should be familiar with:
- Computer hardware fundamentals
- Windows operating system and formatting
- RAM, HDD and SSD replacement
- Internet browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)
- Creating, saving and managing files and folders
- Downloading and installing software
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- MS Excel and MS Word fundamentals
- Basic typing and email usage
- Basic understanding of LAN, IP address and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English
- Ability to travel for field support when required
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / Graduate / Pursuing Graduation
- Hardware & Networking certification will be an added advantage
- Freshers are welcome to apply
Important Note
This role is intended for candidates who already possess basic computer knowledge. Candidates should be comfortable using computers and should have practical understanding of common tasks such as browsing the internet, managing folders, installing applications, and working with MS Office.
