Job Summary
Ashoka Developers and Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Engineer – Civil for our canal construction projects in Maharashtra.
The candidate should have practical experience in Canal Construction, especially Canal Section, Earthwork and Lining works. Candidates with road construction experience are also considered, with preference given to candidates having canal project exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities at project sites.
- Execute Canal Section, Earthwork, Canal Lining and associated civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Check line, level, slope, dimensions and overall work quality.
- Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, supervisors and QC teams.
- Monitor daily work progress, manpower and material requirements.
- Verify quantities and maintain measurement records.
- Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications and approved drawings.
- Coordinate with the QC team for required inspections and quality checks.
- Monitor concrete and lining-related activities and ensure proper execution.
- Identify technical/site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for corrective action.
- Assist in planning and execution of work as per project schedule.
- Ensure safe working practices and proper site housekeeping.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant site experience.
- Canal Construction experience is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Canal Section and Lining works.
- Candidates with Road Construction experience can also apply.
- Good understanding of civil drawings, levels, measurements and construction methodology.
- Basic to good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and quality checks.
- Knowledge of concrete work, earthwork and construction materials.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Maharashtra.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with hands-on experience in Canal / Irrigation / Road Infrastructure projects and good site execution skills will be preferred.
