Billing & Planning Engineer (Civil – Solar Project) - 4 Openings
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Billing & Planning Engineer with a Civil Engineering background to support our solar Projects. The role involves handling project billing, quantity estimation, planning, and coordination with execution teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Quantity Estimation
Prepare detailed project bills (RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills).
Verify measurements and ensure accuracy of BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
Coordinate with site engineers for joint measurements and billing data collection.
Track and certify contractor bills as per project progress.
Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools (MS Project / Primavera / Excel).
Monitor project progress against planned timelines.
Identify delays and coordinate with execution teams for corrective actions.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Cost Control & Budgeting
Assist in project budgeting and cost estimation.
Monitor project expenses and highlight cost deviations.
Support management in cost optimization initiatives.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with site, procurement, and design teams.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for billing and progress updates.
Prepare MIS reports and presentation dashboards for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
3–8 years of experience in billing, planning, and project execution (preferably industrial/solar projects).
Strong knowledge of civil construction works and BOQ preparation.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in solar power plants, renewable energy projects, or industrial construction.
Exposure to EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) environments.
Salary Budget - 30,000 - 90,000 per month
