Role Overview: We are looking for a senior, experienced candidate with a strong combination of artistic, technical, communication, and business understanding. The person should be able to act as a bridge between customer expectations, business requirements, and actual production across 3D assets, photorealistic renders, lifestyle imagery, videos, and other visual content.
Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in visual QA / 3D visualization, with excellent understanding of color, lighting, materials, reflections, composition, camera, and photorealism.
- Deep knowledge of texturing, PBR materials, rendering, and 3D modeling, with the ability to identify both visual and technical issues.
- Ability to review and assess 3D assets, photorealistic renders, lifestyle images, videos, and other digital visual content for quality and consistency.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, product specifications, reference images, and colorway documents.
- Ability to translate customer/reviewer feedback into clear, actionable, and artist-friendly instructions, without unnecessarily overburdening artists with excessive or low-value rework.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to explain quality decisions and requirements to customers when required.
- Good understanding of the business side of production, with the ability to balance customer expectations and quality requirements against timelines, resources, production effort, and practical feasibility.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable creating PPT presentations, reports, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows, including using AI for productivity, analysis, documentation, and problem-solving.
- Basic-to-good understanding of data analysis and QA metrics, with the ability to use AI tools to analyse data and derive meaningful insights.
- Good working knowledge of tools such as 3ds Max/Maya, V-Ray, Substance Painter, Photoshop, or equivalent 3D/visualization software.
- Since this is a remote role, the candidate must have a stable internet connection and a decent PC/workstation configuration capable of handling 3D assets and production files.
The ideal candidate should not be limited to simply identifying mistakes. They should be able to understand the issue, identify its root cause, communicate it effectively, suggest a practical solution, and make a balanced decision from both the quality and business perspective.
