Safety Engineer – Chicco Interiors ( IT Park Projects)
Position Summary
The Safety Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the highest safety standards across all Chicco Interiors projects executed within DLF IT Park. The role requires ensuring complete compliance with DLF safety protocols, statutory regulations, and Chicco Interiors’ safety policies while coordinating effectively with the client, project team, and contractors to achieve zero safety incidents and zero escalations.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance
* Ensure 100% compliance with DLF IT Park safety rules, permit systems, and statutory regulations.
* Implement Chicco Interiors’ safety policies and standard operating procedures across all project activities.
* Obtain necessary work permits and ensure compliance before commencement of any activity.
* Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
Client & DLF Coordination
* Act as the primary safety coordinator between Chicco Interiors, DLF Facility Management, and the client.
* Attend safety meetings conducted by DLF and ensure timely implementation of all observations and corrective actions.
* Maintain smooth coordination with client representatives to ensure uninterrupted project execution without safety-related escalations.
* Submit all safety documentation, reports, and compliance records as required by DLF and the client.
Work Execution & Methodology
* Review work methodologies, Method Statements (MS), and Risk Assessments (RA) before execution.
* Ensure all work activities are carried out strictly as per approved procedures.
* Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, hot work, electrical work, lifting operations, and confined space entry.
* Stop any unsafe work immediately and implement corrective actions before resuming activities.
Labour Safety Management
* Ensure all workers undergo site safety induction before entering the project.
* Verify that all workmen wear appropriate PPE at all times.
* Conduct regular safety awareness sessions and toolbox talks.
* Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements and maintain discipline at the workplace.
Material Management & Housekeeping
* Coordinate the safe inward and outward movement of project materials.
* Ensure materials are stored as per DLF standards and manufacturer recommendations.
* Maintain proper housekeeping, clear access routes, and safe storage areas to prevent hazards.
* Monitor waste disposal and ensure compliance with DLF environmental and housekeeping standards.
Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain safety registers, inspection reports, permits, incident reports, PPE records, and statutory documents.
* Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately to the Project Manager and DLF Safety Team.
* Track closure of safety observations and maintain compliance records for audits.
Emergency Preparedness
* Ensure availability and maintenance of emergency equipment, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers.
* Coordinate emergency response procedures and evacuation drills as required by DLF.
* Ensure all personnel are aware of emergency contacts, assembly points, and evacuation procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI).
* Zero safety escalations from DLF or the client.
* 100% compliance with DLF safety audits and permit requirements.
* 100% PPE compliance by all workers.
* Timely closure of all safety observations and corrective actions.
* Safe material storage and excellent housekeeping standards throughout the project.
* Successful completion of all work activities without safety violations or delays caused by non-compliance.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
