Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Intensivist (Critical Care Specialist) to join our healthcare team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing high-quality critical care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. Freshers with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Manage ventilators, airway support, and other life-support systems.
- Perform critical care procedures such as central venous catheterization and arterial line insertion when required.
- Interpret diagnostic reports including ABG, ECG, laboratory investigations, and imaging.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide advanced critical care.
- Coordinate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols and hospital quality standards.
- Educate patients' families regarding treatment plans and patient progress.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DM or equivalent qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Anaesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty (as applicable).
- Valid Medical Council Registration.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 4 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Critical Care Medicine and ICU protocols.
- Proficiency in ventilator management and emergency patient care.
- Ability to interpret ABG, ECG, laboratory reports, and diagnostic imaging.
- Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS/EMR).
