Post - Export Documentation Executive
Job Summary
The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing export-related documents to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and smooth shipment execution. The role involves coordination with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and international trade regulations.Monitor export incentives, duty drawback, RoDTEP, and other government schemes.Maintain proper records for audits and statutory requirements.Online Application RCMC/EBRC/IEC UPDATE & related to EXPORT.
Export Documentation
- Prepare and review export documents such as: Commercial Invoice/Packing List/Bill of Lading (B/L)/Airway Bill (AWB)/Certificate of Origin (COO)/Phytosanitary Certificate/Fumigation Certificate/Insurance Documents/Shipping Bill and other customs-related documents
Coordination
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters for timely shipment execution.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment schedules and document requirements.
- Liaise with banks for LC, advance payment, and export documentation under RBI/FEMA guidelines
Shipment Tracking
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle amendments and discrepancies in shipping documents.
Record Management
- Maintain export files and documentation records.
- Update in our systems and prepare periodic reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Certification in Export-Import Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4-5 years of experience in export documentation and logistics.
- Experience in handling sea and air shipments.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC), customs procedures, and international trade practices.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of export documentation and shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with DGFT, GST, Customs, and FEMA regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
