Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC/VMC/HMC Machine Operator to operate and manage machining operations efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool handling, production monitoring, quality inspection, and achieving production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC, VMC, and HMC machines as per production requirements.
- Perform machine setup, job setting, and tool offset adjustments.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Monitor machining parameters and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments.
- Handle tooling changes, tool life monitoring, and coolant maintenance.
- Minimize machine downtime, rejection, and cycle time.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality departments for troubleshooting.
- Maintain production records, rejection reports, and machine check sheets.
- Follow SOP, control plan, safety guidelines, and 5S activities.
- Ensure proper material handling and FIFO implementation.
- Train junior operators and support continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machine operations
- Understanding of G-code and M-code basics
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge
- Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards
