Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Team Lead – Data Analyst to lead a team of data analysts and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data visualization, reporting, business intelligence, and stakeholder management.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts.
- Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of business data.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business teams.
Business Intelligence
- Collaborate with operations, finance, sales, and leadership teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor business performance.
- Support strategic planning through predictive and trend analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
Process Improvement
- Automate recurring reports and optimize reporting processes.
- Standardize data collection and reporting methodologies.
- Recommend improvements in data quality, governance, and reporting efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Advanced Formulas).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with data modeling and dashboard creation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in team handling and project coordination.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis (preferred).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- Experience working in a BPO, logistics, supply chain, or service-based organization will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (Power BI, SQL, Data Analytics) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or MIS.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading or mentoring a team.
