Pre-Press Designer – Job Description
Position: Pre-Press Designer
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Industry: Flexible Packaging / Digital Printing
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize artwork files for printing production.
- Check artwork dimensions, color accuracy, and print specifications.
- Create print-ready files as per customer requirements.
- Handle color separation, trapping, and imposition processes.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Production, and Printing departments.
- Ensure artwork compliance with packaging and printing standards.
- Modify and correct existing designs as required.
- Maintain artwork records and customer design databases.
- Identify and resolve pre-press issues before printing.
- Support digital, rotogravure, and flexographic printing requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Acrobat PDF.
- Knowledge of flexible packaging artwork development.
- Understanding of CMYK, Pantone colors, color management, and printing processes.
- Experience in barcode, QR code, and packaging design handling.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Printing Technology, or related field.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in Flexible Packaging, Pouch, Labels, or Printing Industry.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Pay: ₹9,146.77 - ₹46,329.32 per month
