About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser who can seamlessly blend creativity with business acumen. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in garment design, product development, and sourcing, along with proven experience working with corporate clients.
This role also requires specialization in developing dupattas for value retail to kurti manufacturers, with a clear understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and strategies to increase sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative garment collections aligned with client requirements.
- Handle end-to-end product development, from concept to final delivery.
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with corporate clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Develop dupattas for value retail, ensuring compatibility with kurti manufacturers.
- Analyze market demand and implement strategies to boost sales.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in garment design and merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and sourcing.
- Experience working with corporate clients.
- Ability to understand retail dynamics and create products that drive sales.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
