A Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Economics is responsible for teaching Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics to senior secondary students (Classes 11 & 12). The role focuses on delivering concept-based lessons, utilising real-world examples, and preparing students for board examinations and higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Curriculum: Deliver engaging lessons covering core economic theories, policy applications, and current economic trends.
- Assessments: Design lesson plans, conduct regular tests (quizzes, written exams, assignments), and evaluate student performance.
- Board Exam Preparation: Guide senior students through rigorous syllabus completion and revision to ensure high scores in Board (e.g., CBSE, ICSE) examinations.
- Mentoring & Support: Identify struggling students to provide remedial classes and inspire advanced learners to reach their potential.
- Parent Communication: Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to provide regular academic progress updates.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per hour
