We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to support the planning, execution, operation, and maintenance of projects in both the Waste Management and Real Estate sectors. The role requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient installation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure while adhering to quality, safety, and statutory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesWaste Management Projects
- Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of waste processing equipment such as trommels, conveyors, shredders, screening systems, compactors, balers, RDF plants, composting systems, and associated machinery.
- Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
- Coordinate equipment commissioning, performance testing, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain machinery records, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for equipment servicing and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards.
Real Estate Projects
- Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, lifts, and other MEP systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural, structural, and MEP teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor contractor performance, project progress, quality, and timely completion.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover.
- Verify contractor bills, material consumption, and work measurements.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare technical reports, daily progress reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules and improve equipment reliability.
- Assist in procurement by evaluating technical specifications and vendor quotations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and workplace safety.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Travel to project sites as required.
