In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration settings, overseeing system integrations, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solution remains stable and performs efficiently while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to establish best practices and governance frameworks for packaged and SaaS applications.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Project Program & Portfolio Governance.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and methodologies related to project and program management.
- Experience in managing software release cycles and configuration management processes.
- Ability to define and enforce platform standards ensuring compliance with business and vendor requirements.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement to drive project success.
Additional Information:
