QA Intern | Mumbai BioCluster
About the Role
Mumbai BioCluster is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Intern to support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining quality standards, documentation, and compliance across laboratory and operational activities.
This internship will provide practical exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS), controlled-document management, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), deviation and CAPA management, laboratory quality systems, and compliance practices in an industry-facing research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the QA team in maintaining and updating quality-related documents and records.
- Support preparation, review, and filing of SOPs, work instructions, forms, checklists, and other quality documents.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to laboratory activities, equipment, calibration, maintenance, and quality records.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.
- Support document control, including version tracking, archival, and retrieval of controlled documents.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance activities by compiling relevant records and supporting evidence.
- Support tracking of deviations, CAPAs, observations, and other quality-related actions under supervision.
- Maintain quality trackers and prepare periodic status reports.
- Coordinate with laboratory and operations teams to collect required quality documentation.
- Support implementation and monitoring of quality procedures across relevant functions.
- Assist in identifying documentation gaps and following up with respective teams for closure.
- Ensure proper organization and confidentiality of quality records.
- Perform other quality-related activities assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates currently pursuing relevant postgraduate programs may be considered.
- Basic understanding of Quality Assurance, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), GMP/GLP principles, or laboratory quality systems is desirable.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work systematically.
- Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary research and industry-facing environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
