About the Role
Amity University is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment activities for academic, administrative, and leadership positions. The role requires strong expertise in talent sourcing, stakeholder management, candidate assessment, and recruitment strategy within a large, dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with department heads, academic leaders, and functional stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source high-quality candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks, employee referrals, headhunting, recruitment agencies, and campus networks.
- Recruit for academic, non-academic, administrative, corporate, and leadership roles as per institutional requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments, evaluate experience and suitability, and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage offer negotiations, documentation, joining formalities, and pre-boarding engagement.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, MIS reports, candidate databases, and hiring dashboards.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as turnaround time, source effectiveness, offer-to-join ratio, and cost per hire.
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment drives, job fairs, and talent engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, documentation standards, and organizational procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior recruiters, if required, and contribute to improving recruitment processes.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Human Resources.
- Experience in recruitment for academic institutions, education, healthcare, corporate, or large service organizations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruitment tools, job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and HRMS platforms.
