- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, E&I, ECE, Mechanical or related disciplines.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service industrial instruments and equipment at customer locations. The candidate should possess good technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel for service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of instruments and equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and instrumentation-related issues.
- Conduct calibration, testing, and performance verification of equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to customers.
- Prepare service reports and maintain service records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely completion of service activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and effective service support.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Industrial Equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email).
- Ability to work independently and travel for field service activities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in industrial instruments, process control equipment, calibration, maintenance, or technical service support.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby locations as required.
