Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile and technically strong IT professional to join our IT Solutions & Infrastructure team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate should possess a builder mindset with hands-on expertise in automation, cloud operations, infrastructure support, and technical coordination.
The role involves collaborating with internal business teams and external vendors to analyse business requirements, automate workflows, support cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Admissions, Finance, Product, Content, and Academic teams to gather requirements and convert business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Coordinate with external vendors for project execution, issue resolution, testing, and change management using tools like JIRA, Zoho Desk, and Confluence.
- Support backlog management and ensure project timelines, dependencies, and business priorities are effectively tracked.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and integrations using Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting, or RPA tools.
- Provide hands-on support for AWS cloud operations including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, backup management, storage, and restore activities.
- Perform basic Linux and Windows server administration and troubleshoot configuration-level issues.
- Monitor application environments and ensure system stability through logging and monitoring tools.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and process wikis.
- Track KPIs related to automation efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and operational performance.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience in Python or JavaScript (Node.js/browser-based scripting).
- Good working knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure operations.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, subnets, VPNs, and security groups.
- Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, web applications, and SDLC processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency in JIRA and technical documentation tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications in AWS, Azure, or automation technologies.
- Prior experience in educational institutions or universities will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in IT development, infrastructure support, automation, technical coordination, or business–IT interface roles.

Pay: ₹550,247.82 - ₹1,898,142.40 per year
