Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer** with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, project assessment, inspection, and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in evaluating construction quality, inspecting civil works, and managing multiple projects from planning to execution. Experience in wood processing and pallet manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct technical assessments, inspections, and verification of civil construction projects.
* Inspect and evaluate the quality of roads, internal roads, pavements, and industrial access roads.
* Assess and inspect water bodies, drainage systems, storm water management systems, and water infrastructure.
* Plan, supervise, and monitor the construction of office buildings, industrial structures, warehouses, and utility buildings.
* Verify the quality and structural integrity of weighbridge foundations and flooring.
* Oversee the construction and maintenance of warehouse flooring, loading bays, loading platforms, and heavy-duty industrial floors.
* Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, engineering standards, and statutory regulations.
* Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
* Prepare project estimates, BOQs, technical reports, inspection reports, and progress updates.
* Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety compliance.
* Conduct site measurements, quality audits, and material verification.
* Identify construction defects and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations during project execution.
Required Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering and construction projects.
* Proven experience in assessment, verification, inspection, and quality evaluation of civil infrastructure.
* Hands-on experience in:
* Road construction and inspection
* Water body development and civil infrastructure
* Office building construction
* Warehouse construction
* Weighbridge foundation and flooring
* Warehouse loading bays and heavy-duty industrial flooring
* Experience of successfully handling or contributing to 20+ civil construction projects from planning through execution.
* Experience in wood processing industries and pallet manufacturing facilities, including industrial infrastructure development, factory layouts, storage yards, production floors, and related civil works, will be highly preferred.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of RCC, steel structures, industrial construction, and civil engineering practices.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and structural layouts.
* Knowledge of IS Codes, construction standards, and quality control procedures.
* Experience in project planning, estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor coordination.
* Good understanding of industrial flooring systems, drainage, and foundation works.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and other civil engineering software.
Educational Qualification
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
* Additional certifications in Project Management, Quality Management, or Construction Management will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or warehouse infrastructure projects.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
* Experience in wood processing and pallet manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
