Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Mechanical, Ceramic, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing will be preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in refractory or industrial product sales.
- Experience in kiln refractories sales will be preferred.
Reporting To: Director / Head – Sales & Marketing
Role Summary:
The Sales Manager – Kiln Refractories is responsible for developing business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and increasing sales of refractory products used in kilns and high-temperature industrial applications. The role involves client handling, technical discussions, order management, market expansion, and coordination with production and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cement plants, steel plants, sponge iron plants, and other industrial clients.
- Generate new business opportunities for kiln refractory products.
- Handle complete sales cycle from inquiry to order finalization.
- Visit customer plants for product promotion, technical discussions, and business development.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and technical teams for timely delivery and customer support.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets assigned by management.
- Follow up for payment collection and outstanding dues from customers.
- Maintain customer database, sales reports, and visit reports.
- Attend industry meetings, exhibitions, and client meetings as required.
- Ensure proper after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of kiln refractory products and industrial sales.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and technical discussions.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, reporting, and documentation.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and business meetings.
