We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide network infrastructure, cybersecurity, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Network Operations Center (NOC) across the Head Office and multiple business locations.
The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and security of mission-critical IT systems while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technology partners.
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network architecture, including:
- LAN/WAN/MPLS/SD-WAN
- Data center and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Hybrid)
- Define architecture standards for scalability, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
- Ensure High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) frameworks.
- Lead network modernization initiatives and capacity planning.
- Own and govern the enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security controls.
- Implement and manage:
- Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR)
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Oversee vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
- Align security strategy with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Lead SOC operations, including:
- Threat monitoring and SIEM management
- Incident response and escalation
- Security analytics and reporting
- Drive proactive threat hunting and mitigation strategies.
- Automate security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Oversee NOC operations, including:
- Network monitoring and uptime management
- Incident management and root cause analysis
- Define KPIs and SLAs to achieve 99.9%+ network availability.
- Implement proactive monitoring tools and predictive analytics.
- Manage network and security infrastructure across the Head Office and multiple locations using SD-WAN.
- Standardize network architecture, security policies, and deployment frameworks.
- Ensure secure connectivity between offices, data centers, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with:
- Internal stakeholders (IT, business leaders, compliance teams)
- External vendors, OEMs, and system integrators
- Evaluate and onboard new technology partners.
- Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and service performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and internal IT policies.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and remediation planning.
- Maintain governance standards across enterprise infrastructure and security operations.
- Ensure zero or near-zero downtime for critical business operations.
- Strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture and minimize risk exposure.
- Enable secure digital transformation initiatives.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and proactive monitoring.
- Enhance stakeholder confidence through reliable, resilient IT systems.
- Protect enterprise data, reputation, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced expertise in:
- Enterprise networking (Routing, Switching, SD-WAN)
- Cybersecurity architecture and security technologies
- Cloud networking (Azure, AWS)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
- SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Aquila AI)
- Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong understanding of:
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Encryption technologies
- VPNs
- Network segmentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities for SOC and NOC teams.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure during critical incidents.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- 12–18+ years of experience in:
- Enterprise network architecture
- Cybersecurity leadership
- Enterprise IT infrastructure
- Proven experience managing:
- SOC and NOC environments
- Multi-location enterprise networks
- High-availability infrastructure
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CISSP and/or CISM
- CCNP and/or CCIE
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Cloud Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Network Engineering
- Or a related discipline
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with:
- Senior leadership
- Business stakeholders
- External vendors and technology partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence strategic decision-making.
- Willingness to be available for critical incident escalation and business continuity support outside regular working hours, as required.
