Role Overview
Lead Software Engineer – Oracle Cloud Applications
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead Software Engineer – Oracle Cloud Applications to drive the design, development, integration, and optimization of our Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystem. This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines deep Oracle Financials expertise with strong engineering capabilities to deliver scalable, high-impact business solutions.
As a strategic partner to Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams, you will bridge the gap between complex financial business processes and advanced technical execution. You will lead enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud initiatives, architect integrations, optimize end-to-end workflows, and help shape the future of intelligent ERP automation through emerging AI and Agentic technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud ERP Financial solutions across multiple business functions.
- Serve as the technical lead for Oracle Cloud Financials initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical designs and actionable solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and establish best practices for Oracle Cloud development, integrations, and data management.
- Drive enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle Cloud Financial modules including Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Analyze, optimize, and streamline end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, automation, and user experience across financial workflows.
- Architect and develop robust integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and external enterprise applications.
- Design scalable integration frameworks utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FBDI, and BI Publisher (BIP).
- Integrate Oracle Cloud with third-party systems such as banking platforms, tax engines, payment providers, and legacy applications.
- Ensure integration reliability, performance, security, monitoring, and supportability.
- Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
- Create and maintain database objects, stored procedures, packages, views, and performance-tuned queries.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues across Oracle Cloud and integrated environments.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, performance optimization, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance ERP automation and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the design and deployment of Agentic Workflows and LLM-powered autonomous agents for financial process automation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven decision support, workflow orchestration, exception handling, and intelligent process optimization within Oracle ERP ecosystems.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from concept through production deployment.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise application development experience with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, including Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Ability to translate complex financial business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, database design, performance tuning, package development, debugging, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Oracle database objects and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing Oracle Cloud integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FBDI, and BI Publisher (BIP).
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with external applications, financial institutions, tax systems, and enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integration patterns, security principles, and cloud-based solution design.
- Experience leading technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
- Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) modules.
- Hands-on experience developing AI-powered enterprise automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI architectures and LLM-based autonomous agents.
- Experience implementing intelligent workflow orchestration, process mining, or ERP automation initiatives.
