Job Overview:
We are in search of a highly motivated Air Export Executive who possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in both air cargo and courier operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of air freight procedures, pricing, regulations, and documentation, coupled with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations and customer specifications.
- Coordinate air cargo and courier bookings, negotiate rates with airlines and courier service providers, and secure cargo space efficiently.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide shipment updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to customs regulations and facilitate smooth shipment clearance, collaborating with customs brokers and authorities as required.
- Monitor and track shipment movements from origin to destination, proactively addressing potential delays and issues.
- Accurately coordinate with the team for preparation of billing invoices getting them submitted to customers, while also verifying vendor invoices.
- Conduct quality checks on export documentation and shipping instructions to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Generate reports on export activities, offering insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Stay updated on changes in export regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in both air cargo and courier operations, encompassing export documentation, booking, and customer communication.
- Knowledge of international air freight regulations, including TSA regulations (preferred).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with logistics and freight forwarding industry practices.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and compliance requirements.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
