Support Worker
x1 Permanent Part Time position - Guarenteed 60 hours a fortnight (Not a fixed roster)
Te mahi angitu - The opportunity
You will be supporting clients in their own homes across North Canterbury and Christchurch. You will be part of a small team responsible for all aspects of client's personal cares including but not limited to tracheostomy cares, suctioning and medications. Support staff will also be responsible for household management which will include housework and completing laundry. The successful applicant must be good with animals (dogs and cats)
You will help empower clients to access their community, and achieve independence, inclusion, and quality of life after a brain injury. Our clients are seeking an exceptional team with the opportunity for a genuine and authentic connection to develop over time.
This permanent part-time role requires an exceptionally flexible person, as the role is not a fixed roster and will require working across services, including a combination of Weekends, Weekdays, AM, PM, Sleepovers and occasional Wakeovers. The successful candidate will be covering staff on leave, hence the need to be flexible.
