Role Overview
The Content Writer is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and resonates with target audiences. This role works closely with the SEO team to produce a variety of content formats aligned with client goals and brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for blogs, landing pages, website copy, and product descriptions.
- SEO Research & Optimization Conduct keyword research and integrate primary and secondary keywords naturally to improve search visibility and rankings.
- Content Planning & Strategy Develop content briefs, outlines, and drafts aligned with client requirements, tone of voice, and SEO guidelines.
- Collaboration with SEO Team Work closely with SEO teams to plan content calendars, publishing schedules, and topic strategies.
- Content Optimization & Updates Review and optimize existing content to improve performance, relevance, and organic traffic.
- Editing & Quality Assurance Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output.
- Industry-Specific Writing Create content across multiple industries including e-commerce, finance, healthcare, and technology.
- Brand Alignment Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging, user intent, and business objectives.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional content writing experience (digital or agency experience preferred)
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing style
- Good understanding of SEO writing principles and keyword placement
- Familiarity with tools such as Surfer SEO, Grammarly, or Clearscope is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines consistently
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
