Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to support our UK business operations by providing legal guidance on corporate, commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, legal compliance, risk management, and corporate governance, with the ability to work closely with UK stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Prior experience supporting UK-based businesses or international clients is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, client contracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, SLAs, partnership agreements, and employment-related documents.
- Provide legal advice and support to UK business teams on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UK laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Review business contracts to identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate exposure.
- Coordinate with external UK legal counsel on litigation, employment matters, regulatory issues, and dispute resolution.
- Support contract lifecycle management, maintaining legal records and documentation.
- Advise management on legal implications of business decisions, commercial transactions, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct legal research on UK legislation, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
- Assist in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and business expansion initiatives where required.
- Develop and update legal policies, templates, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Business Development teams to ensure legal compliance across all functions.
- Monitor changes in UK legal and regulatory requirements and proactively advise the business on potential impacts.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of UK corporate, commercial, contract, and employment law.
- Excellent contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
- Experience supporting UK-based clients or multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
