Job Summary
Akrosstech Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Insurance Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US Insurance processes, including eligibility verification, benefits verification, claims processing, prior authorization, and insurance follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Process and review insurance claims accurately.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursements.
- Handle claim denials and work towards timely resolutions.
- Perform prior authorization and pre-certification activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with client and insurance guidelines.
- Meet quality and productivity targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 Months to 3+ Years of Experience in US Insurance or US Healthcare.
- Strong understanding of:
- Eligibility & Benefits Verification
- Claims Processing
- Prior Authorization
- Denial Management
- Insurance Follow-Up
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and healthcare systems.
- Comfortable working in Night Shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or Healthcare BPO.
- Familiarity with US healthcare insurance guidelines and payer portals.
