About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Engineer / Sr. Engineer for our Die Casting Manufacturing division. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of HPDC machines, production planning, manpower handling, and process improvement within a die casting environment. The role requires strong leadership skills, production focus, and the ability to work in shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day production activities in the Die Casting department.
- Operate and supervise HPDC machines such as Zitai, HMT, Toshiba, Yizumi, etc.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets with minimum downtime and rejection.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room for die maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain daily production log books and record process changes, die changes, breakdowns, complaints, and shift activities.
- Monitor production scheduling including daily, weekly, and monthly planning along with capacity analysis.
- Handle manpower allocation and supervise in-process and final production activities.
- Resolve machine and process-related issues including settings, dimensions, and operational challenges.
- Analyze Shift Production Reports, Rejection Reports, and Complaint Registers and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure optimum machine utilization and minimize production loss hours.
- Maintain proper documentation and MIS reports related to production activities.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience in Manufacturing – Die Casting Industry.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Good understanding of HPDC machine operations and die casting processes.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexible to work in night shifts.
Salary Range
₹5.0 – ₹7.0 LPA
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
