About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Engineer (GCP + Power BI) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, and developing interactive dashboards that support business decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), data engineering practices, and Power BI reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Build and optimize data solutions using BigQuery and other GCP tools.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
- Create efficient data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations in Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation.
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support business objectives.
- Continuously improve reporting and analytics processes through automation and optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in BigQuery and SQL.
- Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, or similar tools.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
- Experience in ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
