Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and performance-driven Sales Head / Sales Trainer to lead our Ahmedabad sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and mentoring team members, implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring that every sales consultant consistently achieves and exceeds business targets.
This role requires an individual who is equally passionate about sales leadership and employee development, with the ability to build a high-performance sales culture through continuous training and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Lead and manage the Ahmedabad sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive individual and team performance through effective planning, coaching, and monitoring.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct daily sales reviews, pipeline analysis, and performance discussions.
- Ensure high conversion rates by identifying improvement opportunities in the sales process.
- Monitor key sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to improve lead quality and customer experience.
Sales Training & Development
- Design and deliver structured induction training programs for new sales employees.
- Conduct regular product, process, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills training sessions.
- Identify skill gaps through observation, call monitoring, and performance analysis.
- Develop training modules, SOPs, sales scripts, playbooks, and learning materials.
- Conduct refresher training and one-on-one coaching sessions to improve sales effectiveness.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure measurable improvement in team performance.
- Create a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Team Management
- Supervise, mentor, motivate, and guide sales executives to maximize productivity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new sales professionals.
- Build a positive, disciplined, and target-oriented work environment.
- Handle performance improvement plans (PIPs) whenever required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and ethical business practices.
Reporting & Coordination
- Report sales performance, training progress, and team productivity to the Vice President – Sales.
- Share insights, market trends, customer feedback, and recommendations for business growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, with at least 3-5 years in a Team Lead, Sales Manager, or Sales Trainer role.
- Proven experience in leading high-performing sales teams.
- Experience in immigration consulting, education, real estate, banking, financial services, insurance, or other consultative sales industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹99,000.00 per month
