Principal Architect for the widely acclaimed Eco-Friendly Township of India – Magarpatta City with proven sustainable systems. This project has inspired to develop many Sustainable Townships and Socio-Economical Movement in Urban Planning.
Presently working on many projects to name there are 2 Sustainable Township Projects at Pune i.e. Nanded City and Riverview City. Our designed projects has been awarded with prestigious awards.
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Liaisoning Engineer to join our team and ensure seamless coordination between our project sites, consultants, and government authorities.
Role Summary
The Liaisoning Engineer will act as the critical bridge between our internal project teams and external regulatory bodies. You will be responsible for securing all necessary statutory approvals (PMRDA / PCNTDA/ PMC) resolving on-site regulatory bottlenecks, and ensuring strict compliance with local laws to keep our projects moving forward without delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drawing & Design Review: Scrutinize architectural plans, layouts, and elevations to ensure strict compliance with local Development Control Regulations (DCR), National Building Code (NBC), and environmental guidelines.
- Approval Management: Prepare, submit, and track sanction drawings through municipal software systems (e.g., AutoDCR/ BPMS). Secure critical approvals including building permissions, CC, Plinth Checking, and OC.
- Area & FSI Calculations: Accurately calculate and verify FSI (Floor Space Index), TDR (Transferable Development Rights), and BUA (Built-Up Area) statements for maximum project efficiency.
- Authority Coordination: Act as the primary face of the company with Town Planning departments, Municipal Corporations, Fire Departments.
- Internal Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with principal architects, draftspersons, and the legal team to modify drawings when required by authorities, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Regulatory Updates: Keep the design and management teams proactively informed about any newly introduced building bylaws, zoning laws, or government policies.
· Government Approvals: Process, track, and secure all necessary permits, NOCs (No Objection Certificates), and clearances from local governing bodies (PMRDA / PMC / PCNTDA, Town Planning, and Other Departments).
· Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with local authorities, government officials, and external stakeholders.
· Compliance Tracking: Monitor changes in local regulations, building codes, and environmental laws, ensuring the company remains 100% compliant at all times.
· Dispute Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any site-level disputes, community concerns, or regulatory roadblocks that could delay project execution.
· Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive and updated database of all regulatory documents, renewals, and pending approvals, providing regular status reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
· Experience: Proven track record of [3/5] years working specifically in a liaisoning or regulatory compliance role within the [construction/infrastructure/manufacturing] sector.
· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of local building bylaws, statutory approval processes, and legal documentation.
· Proficient in software’s : CAD & MSOffice
· Communication: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
· Language: Marathi, Hindi, English.
· Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently between project sites, and government departments.
