Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting and selling colour coated coils, building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The role involves working closely with distributors, dealers, OEMs, contractors, fabricators, and industrial customers while ensuring excellent customer service and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Promote and sell colour coated coils to dealers, distributors, contractors, fabricators, OEMs, and industrial customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Generate leads through market visits, cold calling, and customer referrals.
- Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales orders.
- Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide after-sales support.
- Monitor customer requirements, order status, and payment collections.
- Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, dealer meets, and promotional activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence reports.
- Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for quick resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate sales records in CRM or ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of sales and marketing experience in colour coated coils, steel products, roofing sheets, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), or related building materials.
- Experience in B2B industrial sales is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of colour coated coils, GI/PPGI/PPGL products, roofing materials, and the steel industry.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to generate new business and manage key customer accounts.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and market development.
