- Set up, operate, and tend to automated electroplating machines (e.g., zinc, copper, or nickel plating) via PLC control panel
- PLC & Automation Control: Load and troubleshoot production programs, adjust cycle times, voltages, and hoist sequences through the system interface.
- Chemical Monitoring: Test and regulate plating solutions, maintaining correct concentrations, temperatures, and fluid levels required for exact metal thickness.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect coated parts for defects (e.g., uneven coverage, pitting, or poor adhesion) using micrometers and coating thickness gauges.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning tanks, replacing worn anodes, and calibrating electrical or mechanical components.
- Safety & Compliance: Handle hazardous industrial chemicals, strictly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and properly store chemical waste per EHS protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating PLC-driven automation, ideally within metal finishing, electroplating, or heavy manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Basic PLC and Ladder Logic troubleshooting, strong understanding of electrochemistry, and the ability to read technical schematics.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
