Job Summary:
The Hostel Warden oversees the daily operations of the hostel, maintains discipline, ensures the safety and well-being of residents, manages hostel facilities, and acts as the primary point of contact for students, staff, and parents regarding hostel matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily functioning of the hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all residents.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Allocate rooms and maintain occupancy records.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Address residents' concerns, complaints, and emergencies promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain attendance and visitor registers.
- Organize orientation programs and hostel activities.
- Handle medical emergencies by coordinating with healthcare providers and informing parents/guardians when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on hostel operations and resident conduct.
- Manage hostel inventory, assets, and supplies.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive living environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred; requirements may vary by institution).
- Previous experience in hostel, residential, or facility management is an advantage.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, record management).
- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
