Job Description: UAV Flight Dynamics Engineer
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled UAV Flight Dynamics Engineer to focus on the design, development, and integration of flight control systems, stability laws, and trajectory planning for autonomous UAVs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aerodynamic design, control theory, and advanced navigation algorithms, specifically applied to UAV autopilot systems and real-time flight dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Aerodynamic & Control Design: Develop and optimize aerodynamic models and control laws for UAV systems. Focus on stability and control law design to ensure reliable and responsive autopilot performance across various flight regimes.
- Autopilot & Flight Control Systems: Design and implement flight control systems, including attitude and trajectory control, for autonomous UAVs. Focus on advanced control strategies that ensure stability and mission success under diverse environmental conditions.
- Trajectory Planning & Navigation: Develop trajectory planning algorithms to optimize flight paths, fuel efficiency, and mission time. Work on navigation systems that enable precise control and dynamic adjustment during flight.
- Simulation & Testing: Conduct detailed simulations to test control systems and flight dynamics. Validate autopilot algorithms under various flight conditions, ensuring robustness and performance.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aerodynamic models, control algorithms, and navigation systems into the UAV platform.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
- Experience:
- Experience in UAV flight dynamics, autopilot design, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of control theory, including PID control, trajectory optimization, and navigation algorithms.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python) and UAV control system development.
- Skills:
- Experience with UAV autopilot system design and integration.
- Knowledge of nonlinear control techniques and real-time systems.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month
