We are looking for a smart, responsible, and experienced Purchase Executive with a strong background in the Manufacturing Industry, preferably with hands-on knowledge of Sheet Metal, GI/GP Sheets, PPGI, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Hardware, Fabrication Materials, and Industrial Consumables.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete purchasing cycle, including vendor development, quotation comparison, price negotiation, purchase orders, material follow-up, delivery coordination, and inventory-related purchasing requirements.
Important: Candidate must be comfortable working full-time from our Banur Plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete procurement and purchasing activities for the manufacturing plant
- Purchase sheet metal, raw materials, hardware, fabrication items, consumables, and other production materials
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial terms
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs)
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, PPC, Accounts, and Management
- Ensure availability of required material as per production schedule
- Monitor pending Purchase Orders and delayed supplies
- Verify material specifications, quantity, rates, and delivery commitments
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, quotations, and reports
- Handle urgent purchase requirements without affecting production
- Develop alternate vendors to improve cost, quality, and delivery
- Support management in cost reduction and purchase planning
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding vendor payments and purchase documents
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of the manufacturing purchasing process
- Strong understanding of Sheet Metal and related raw materials
- Familiarity with materials such as:

- Stainless Steel

- MS Material
- Hardware & Fasteners

- Strong vendor negotiation and vendor development skills
- Knowledge of Purchase Orders, quotations, comparative statements, and material follow-ups
- Ability to understand basic material specifications and requirements
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Good follow-up and negotiation ability
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple purchase requirements
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of Purchase / Procurement experience preferred
- Experience in Manufacturing, Sheet Metal, HVAC, Cleanroom, Fabrication, Pharma Equipment, Engineering, or similar industries will be preferred
- Candidate should have a good network or knowledge of industrial vendors
- Must be commercially smart and capable of negotiating competitive rates
- Should be able to independently handle routine purchasing activities
- Candidate must be comfortable working from Banur Plant
Job Location: Banur, Punjab
Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹28,000 per month
Salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and interview performance.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
