Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Manager to expand our institutional sales network across the assigned territory. The role involves building relationships with educational institutions, promoting academic publications, generating new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage institutional sales across the assigned territory
- Promote academic books, digital learning resources, and educational content
- Build strong relationships with universities, colleges, libraries, schools, and government institutions
- Meet faculty members, principals, librarians, department heads, and other key decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Manage distributor and channel partner relationships
- Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction
- Maintain records of sales visits, customer interactions, and market intelligence
- Represent the company at seminars, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and academic events
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of sales experience can apply
- Experience in educational publishing, institutional sales, academic sales, or business development will be an added advantage
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory
