Submit Quotes to customers and do final negotiations with them
Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development

Generate new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers for freight forwarding and other services.

Develop and implement strategies to build a strong pipeline of prospects.

Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.

Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.

Create and execute strategies to increase sales and market share in the freight forwarding sector.

Track and analyse sales data to forecast revenue, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Maintain and grow long-term relationships with existing clients by providing outstanding service and support.

Act as the main point of contact for customers and ensure their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client communications, and pipeline status in the system.

Provide regular updates to management on progress against sales targets and market developments.

Prepare reports on sales forecasts, customer feedback, and competitor activities.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding services and customer satisfaction.

Timely collection of Payments from customers
Eligibility Criteria
-
Minimum bachelor's degree. Education in logistics, supply chain management, or operations is a plus.

5+ years of Practical experience in a similar position is an advantage

Strong time-management organizational skills and result oriented.

Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time

Well-developed negotiation skills

Strong communication and writing skills.
