Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle CPQ implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
Own delivery governance—including project planning, tracking, sprint management, risk management, and communication.
Define project scope, timelines, resources, and execution roadmap.
Ensure delivery excellence through quality checks, solution reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Technical Leadership
Ability to understand and review CPQ technical designs, configurations, commerce rules, workflows, BMQL, and integrations.
Provide guidance to architects, developers, and QA teams on CPQ solutioning and technical challenges.
Work closely with integration teams for CRM/ERP/data exchanges (Oracle ERP, Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
Drive technical discussions, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployments.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, business SMEs, and internal leadership.
Conduct requirement workshops, solution walkthroughs, and UAT reviews.
Ensure client expectations are aligned with solution capabilities and project constraints.
Team Management
Manage cross-functional teams across onshore/offshore delivery models.
Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure accountability across technical and functional members.
Mentor and support CPQ teams to improve performance and technical competency.
Process & Governance
Maintain project documents including BRDs, solution designs, test plans, deployment plans, and release notes.
Manage RAID logs, change requests, and periodic project reporting.
Drive continuous improvements in delivery methodologies and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10–15 years of total experience, with strong project/delivery management background.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Oracle CPQ (implementation, enhancement, support, or upgrade).
Strong understanding of CPQ concepts:
Configuration, BOM, Pricing, Quoting, Approvals
Commerce processes, BML rules, workflows
Integrations with CRM/ERP
Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and delivery governance.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-handling capabilities.
