We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations across our retail pharmacy outlets. The candidate will assist pharmacists in billing, medicine handling, customer service, stock maintenance, and ensuring smooth store operations while maintaining company standards and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating medicines and healthcare products.
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medicines as per prescription.
- Handle billing, cash transactions, and payment collections accurately.
- Maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness of medicines and shelves.
- Check medicine expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired/damaged stock.
- Assist in inward stock checking, GRN process, and inventory maintenance.
- Ensure availability of fast-moving medicines and inform concerned staff regarding shortages.
- Support prescription handling and customer guidance under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain proper records of stock movement and daily sales activities.
- Follow company SOPs, billing procedures, and customer service standards.
- Coordinate with branch staff and managers for smooth pharmacy operations.
- Handle customer queries politely and professionally.
- Assist during stock audits and physical verification activities.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and healthcare products.
- Perform additional operational duties assigned by management.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm preferred.
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in retail pharmacy operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy billing.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and billing software handling ability.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle store operations efficiently.
