Accountant – Job Description
Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com Graduate (Additional certifications in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience, including independent responsibility for books of accounts, compliance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end management of financial accounting, including oversight of Tally entries, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closing of books.
- Review and approve voucher entries, invoice entries, bank & cash entries, petty cash statements, and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare financial reports such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS reports, and variance analysis for management review.
- Manage statutory compliance, including TDS, PF/ESIC coordination, vendor compliance checks, and liaising with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation of outstanding balances.
- Handle business correspondence with service providers, vendors, suppliers, customers, and financial institutions with professionalism and clarity.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, training, and adherence to processes.
- Monitor inventory, order books, and procurement‑related accounting, especially for laboratory, stationery, and office supplies.
- Strengthen administrative systems, coordinate centre operations, and support management in planning and implementing process improvements.
- Manage email communication across Outlook/Gmail platforms with high standards of business etiquette.
- Take ownership of additional administrative and financial responsibilities as required by management.
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com Graduate; additional finance or accounting certifications are an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Tally, MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis), and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Excellent command over English — written and spoken — with the ability to communicate confidently with senior executives and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently resolve accounting discrepancies.
- High level of computer proficiency, including scanning, emailing, documentation, and digital record‑keeping.
- Self‑driven, reliable, and capable of handling confidential financial information with integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Professional, well‑presented, and capable of representing the organisation in external interactions.
- Strong team player with leadership qualities and a collaborative approach.
Salary : As per Industry Standard.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
