Job Description - Professor – MBA (Finance / Marketing/Operations / HR)
(As per AICTE Regulations & AKTU Guidelines)
1. Position Summary
The Professor – MBA shall be responsible for providing academic leadership in the area of Finance / Operations / Human Resource Management, contributing to teaching, research, consultancy, institutional development, and accreditation processes in accordance with AICTE and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) norms.
2. Eligibility Criteria (As per AICTE Norms)
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Management / relevant discipline (Finance / Operations / HR)
- First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
- MBA / PGDM (2 years full-time) with specialization in the relevant area
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industry experience, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to Associate Professor
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed / UGC Care / Scopus indexed journals
- Successfully guided at least 2 Ph.D. scholars (desirable as per latest norms)
- Experience in handling academic administration / institutional development preferred
3. Roles & Responsibilities
A. Academic Leadership
- Deliver postgraduate courses as per AKTU MBA curriculum
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies including case-based learning
- Supervise dissertations, research projects, and internships
- Design curriculum enrichment activities
B. Research & Consultancy
- Publish high-quality research in indexed journals
- Secure funded research projects / consultancy assignments
- Organize conferences, FDPs, MDPs, and workshops
- Promote industry-academia collaboration
C. Academic Administration
- Lead specialization area (Finance / Operations / HR)
- Contribute to NAAC / NBA accreditation documentation
- Serve on statutory bodies and institutional committees
- Mentor faculty members and support their development
D. Industry & Outreach
- Establish corporate partnerships
- Facilitate placements and live projects
- Conduct executive training programs

5. Pay Scale - As per college norms
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
