Work Location: Mathura and other districts falling under the jurisdiction of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (DVVNL), Uttar Pradesh (Field-Based | Extensive Travel across Uttar Pradesh and other States of India, as per project and business requirements.)Reporting To: Project Manager / Business Head – Renewable Energy
Position Overview
LASA Consultants & Organisation is seeking a highly motivated, target-oriented, and technically competent Solar Sales & Installation Engineer / Supervisor to drive the sales, execution, and successful commissioning of Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Government Solar Rooftop Projects under the PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana, PM-KUSUM, and other Central/State Government solar subsidy schemes.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle—from lead generation and customer acquisition to site survey, technical consultation, subsidy assistance, installation supervision, net-metering coordination, commissioning, and post-installation support—while consistently achieving assigned business and operational targets.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Business Development (Primary Responsibility – Target Based)
- Generate qualified leads through field visits, digital platforms, channel partners, referrals, builders, RWAs, industries, commercial establishments, institutions, and government agencies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets assigned by the management.
- Promote and sell On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Solar PV Systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Explain government subsidy schemes, return on investment (ROI), energy savings, and financing options.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and business associates.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
B. Site Survey & Technical Assessment
- Conduct detailed site inspections and feasibility studies.
- Assess roof strength, orientation, shadow analysis, load requirements, and installation feasibility.
- Recommend suitable solar system capacity based on customer energy consumption.
- Prepare site survey reports and coordinate with the design team.
C. Project Planning & Installation Supervision
- Supervise installation of:
- On-Grid Solar PV Systems
- Off-Grid Solar Systems
- Hybrid Solar Systems
- Solar Inverters
- Battery Energy Storage Systems
- Solar Mounting Structures
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
- Ensure project execution within approved timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with installation teams, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, BIS, and electrical safety standards.
D. Subsidy & Net-Metering Coordination
- Guide customers through the PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana registration process.
- Assist in preparing and submitting subsidy applications and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with DISCOM for:
- Net Metering Application
- Site Inspection
- Meter Installation
- Synchronization Approval
- Track subsidy approvals and customer documentation.
E. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Conduct testing and commissioning of installed solar systems.
- Verify system performance, inverter configuration, and electrical safety.
- Ensure successful synchronization and customer handover.
- Provide user training and maintenance guidance.
F. Customer Relationship & After-Sales Support
- Resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Coordinate warranty claims and service support.
- Conduct preventive maintenance visits when required.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
G. Documentation & Reporting
- Daily Sales Report
- Lead Conversion Report

Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The employee shall be expected to achieve the following indicative targets, which may be revised by the management based on business requirements:
Sales Targets
- Generate 80–100 qualified leads per month.
- Conduct 50–60 customer meetings/site visits per month.
- Submit 30–40 techno-commercial proposals per month.
- Achieve 10–15 confirmed solar installations per month (or as assigned).
- Generate minimum monthly business revenue as prescribed by the company.
Installation Targets
- Ensure 100% completion of assigned installations within committed timelines.
- Achieve zero critical installation defects.
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety and quality standards.
Customer Service Targets
- Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or above.
- Resolve customer complaints within the prescribed turnaround time.
- Generate referrals from satisfied customers.
Operational Targets
- Ensure timely submission of all reports and documentation.
- Complete subsidy and net-metering documentation without delay.
- Maintain accurate CRM and project records.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Renewable Energy Engineering
- Energy Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (with Solar Experience)
Experience
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude and sales orientation are welcome.
- 1–5 years of experience in Solar EPC, Rooftop Solar Projects, Electrical Installations, or Renewable Energy will be preferred.

Performance will be assessed on:
- Sales revenue achieved.
- Number and capacity (kW) of solar systems sold and commissioned.
- Lead-to-order conversion ratio.
- Timely project completion.

- Accuracy of subsidy documentation.
- Compliance with company policies, safety standards, and reporting requirements.
Failure to consistently achieve agreed performance standards without reasonable justification may result in performance review, coaching, reassignment, or other action in accordance with company policy.
