Job Title: Coordinator – Volunteer Engagement
About the Role:
Youth for Seva is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Coordinator to drive community
development initiatives and coordinate volunteering efforts for the Centre for Social Impact in
Chanakya University, Devanahalli. The role requires working closely with students, faculty,
NGOs, and local communities to facilitate impactful social interventions. The Coordinator will
be responsible for leading village development programs, engaging students in volunteerism,
and fostering sustainable community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Village Development & Community Engagement:
- Conduct village surveys to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities for
development by engaging college volunteers.
- Plan and implement community development initiatives.
- Coordinate capacity-building workshops and ensure active participation from
community stakeholders.
Volunteer Mobilization & Engagement:
- Organize and conduct Volunteerism Orientation Programs for students and faculty.
- Train and mentor student volunteers, assigning them to meaningful community
projects.
- Develop and maintain a structured system for volunteer tracking, evaluation, and
reporting.
Skills required:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience in managing multiple
stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, faculty, and
community members.
- Ability to develop reports and impact assessments.
- Passion for social development and grassroots engagement.
