Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the
procurement of materials and equipment required for rooftop solar projects. The candidate
will be responsible for sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices,
processing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to support
project execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Procure rooftop solar project materials such as:
○ Solar Panels
○ Solar Inverters
○ Mounting Structures
○ DC & AC Cables
○ Earthing Materials
○ Junction Boxes
○ Lightning Arresters
○ Electrical Protection Devices (MCBs, MCCBs, SPD, etc.)
○ Balance of System (BOS) components
● Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
● Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate commercial terms.
● Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate with suppliers for order execution.
● Track deliveries and ensure timely procurement to meet project schedules.
● Coordinate with Project, Engineering, and Accounts teams for procurement
requirements.
● Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
● Monitor inventory levels and assist in material planning.
● Ensure quality, quantity, and specification compliance of procured materials.
● Support cost optimisation initiatives and vendor management activities.
Required Skills
● Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
● Understanding of rooftop solar components and electrical materials is preferred.
● Strong negotiation and communication skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Procurement software.
● Good analytical and documentation skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
Qualification
● Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply
Chain, Commerce, or related field.
● Freshers with relevant internship/project exposure may apply.
● Prior experience in Solar EPC, Electrical Contracting, Renewable Energy, or
Infrastructure industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
